Mr. Scott has over 14 years of experience working full-time as an Accident Reconstructionist. After receiving his initial training in surveying and civil engineering, John applied this technical background in the field of accident reconstruction. His reconstruction experience includes investigating, analyzing and reconstructing hundreds of vehicle crashes.
As the head of the Demonstrative Evidence Division, some of his specialties at JDA include: field data collection utilizing electronic measuring equipment, AutoCAD proficiency, accident scene and vehicle modeling, simulating crash environments and crash test research. John's extensive training and use of state-of-the-art computer technology such as EDCRASH™ and EDSMAC™ coupled with his understanding of the practical and theoretical knowledge of applying physics makes him a vital part of the JDA team. Mr. Scott has participated in crash testing experimentation at several accident reconstruction conferences and is frequently called upon by the conference organizers to offer his expertise in data collection.
John is fully certified as an Accident Reconstructionist by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR).
