Mr. Trocchio has over 21 years of experience working as an accident investigator with The New York City Police Department.
Tony retired from law enforcement after 21-years as a 2nd Grade Detective, with most of his career spent in the area of traffic safety and accident investigation/reconstruction.
His reconstruction experience includes investigating, analyzing and reconstructing hundreds of vehicle crashes. Mr. Trocchio has been qualified and has testified as an expert witness in several state and municipal courts. Tony received specialized training in accident reconstruction while serving in the Traffic Bureau of the New York City Police Department Highway Patrol where he had the responsibility to investigate serious and fatal accidents for criminal prosecution.
He has reconstructed hundreds of collisions, including multi and single vehicle, pedestrian, motorcycle and truck collisions. He has received specialized training in many aspects of accident reconstruction from the Institute of Police Technology and Management and regularly participates in traffic related seminars and symposiums.
Mr. Trocchio is a proficient Sokkia Total Station operator and since joining JDA, has electronically measured and reconstructed numerous traffic accidents. He is currently completing his accreditation requirements in order to be a fully accredited Accident Reconstructionist by ACTAR.
